Why I Chose Not to Join (Even After Multiple Invitations)

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had several people reach out asking me the same question:

"Ed, are you joining Save Club?"

It’s not a bad question. Save Club is gaining traction with its pitch: a membership-based discount platform tied to a business opportunity. You save money, refer others, and potentially earn income.

But after working online since 2007, I’ve learned to pause before jumping into anything new. What I’ve come to value most isn’t the next shiny object or fast-money promise. It’s alignment—with purpose, with people, and with long-term vision.

So let me answer the question directly:

No, I didn’t join Save Club. Not because it’s a scam—but because I’ve found a better way.

What Exactly Is Save Club?

Save Club is a paid membership platform that gives you access to discounts at over one million locations worldwide. Travel. Dining. Shopping. Entertainment. It also includes an affiliate program where you can share the offer with others, build a team, and earn commissions.

The appeal? A free position, an easy way to save, and a promise of income potential.

On the surface, that sounds great. But when you dig deeper, the cracks begin to show.

The Real Competition: Save Club vs the Giants

Before I say yes to any opportunity, I look at the marketplace. I ask, "What are consumers already using?" And *"What would I be up against if I joined this?"

Here’s the truth:

Save Club is trying to compete in a space dominated by giants.

  • Amazon Prime: 200+ million members. Free shipping. Prime Video. Rx discounts. Unmatched logistics.

  • Walmart+: Fuel savings, free delivery, streaming perks, pharmacy benefits.

  • IKEA Family, Sephora Insider, Starbucks Rewards: Each offering real value, often for free.

These companies aren’t just offering discounts. They’re offering integrated ecosystems built on convenience, loyalty, and brand trust.

Can Save Club really compete?

In my opinion—not at scale. Not sustainably. And not without a massive rebrand.

Is Save Club a Scam?

Let’s get one thing clear: Save Club is not a scam.

The discounts are real. The referral program is legal. The product exists.

But it’s also fair to say that Save Club walks a fine line between opportunity and overpromise. The shiny-object marketing, the urgency tactics, the free-but-not-really-free model… these are all red flags if you’re not experienced in online business.

The bigger issue? Save Club isn’t a bad idea—it’s just an outdated one.

Why I Didn’t Join (Even After the Invitations)

I’ve been online since 2007. I’ve built funnels. Promoted affiliate programs. Bought the courses. Ran the webinars.

And here’s what I’ve learned: If you’re constantly chasing, you’re never becoming.

That’s why I stepped back and asked myself: What do I really want to build?

The answer surprised me…

Wellness is the new wealth.

In a world that’s stressed out, burnt out, and digitally distracted, the real opportunity isn’t in helping people save $12 on a hotel booking.

It’s in helping them feel better. Live longer. Have more energy. Think more clearly.

And I realized I could do that—while still using the tools and systems I love.

So I shifted.

Now, I’m building an AI-powered wellness business that:

  • Promotes high-impact, science-backed nutrition

  • Uses automation to simplify marketing

  • Creates freedom through residual income

  • Aligns with my values: People. Passion. Purpose.

Final Verdict: Save Club Isn’t a Scam—It’s Just Not My Path

I get why people are curious. Save Club looks simple. It looks exciting. And for a handful of people, it might even work.

But for me? I’ve moved on.

I’m not looking to join. I’m looking to become.
I’m not chasing hype. I’m creating harmony.

And if that resonates with you—you might just be on the same path.
